Our business concept is to develop and sell specialist pharmaceuticals that give people a better life. Consequently, for us, caring for the environment is also an obvious objective. We are frugal in our use of natural resources and undertake continuous efforts to minimize the impact of our operations on the environment. Biovitrum employs a certifiable environmental management system in accordance with the ISO 14001 standard and our work environment is regulated by AFS: 2001:1. To maintain as close a contact with environmental issues and developments as possible, and to deal with necessary actions as these arise, responsibility for environmental matters is delegated within the company. Each larger unit has an environmental coordinator, whose task is to support the manager of the unit and safeguard adherence to the environmental policy.
